Catnip is an herb from the mint family of plants. It stimulates the pheromones in a cats brain which causes about 10 minutes of silly behavior followed by a calming bliss.

We stuff a 6 X 9 X 3 foil pouch with 2 full ounces of catnip which also equals 2 full cups. We pack by weight and not by volume.

Our toys are made with durable 100% cotton fabric using only non-bleed vegetable-based dyes and completely filled with our own blend of Chicago Catnip organically grown catnip. Our toys are PACKED with catnip. All catnip and materials are sourced from the USA.

Only 75% of cats have the "catnip" gene. Kittens under 6 months also don't respond to catnip.

Loose catnip can be fun for all cats. Loose nip can be added to your cats food, sprinkled on scratching pads and scratching posts or put in a small dish for your cat to enjoy. You can also make your own toys by tying off a small amount of catnip inside of a sock.

We put all of our products in foil sealed pouches for freshness. Loose catnip and toys will last for several years. To reactivate the essential oils just squeeze the toys or "roll" the catnip between your fingers to reactivate the oils.
